On October 18, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice of application for the 2023 Strategic Emerging Industry Support Plan. The latest support plan covers industrial fields including industrial mother machines, intelligent robots, laser and additive manufacturing, precision instruments and equipment, marine equipment, intelligent connected vehicles, and medical equipment.

Among them, in the field of industrial master machines, it will focus on supporting core process and testing equipment for OLED, MiniLED, Micro LED, semiconductor integrated circuit core process and testing equipment, battery equipment and CNC machine tools.
In the field of laser and additive manufacturing, it will focus on supporting laser equipment such as ultra-fast laser fine cutting, ultra-thin wafer laser slicers, Micro LED laser peeling, and mass transfer.
This support plan is divided into three categories: key link improvement projects in the industrial chain, industrial service system projects and national supporting projects. The application projects that have passed the review, according to the classification of the project, can receive a maximum funding of no more than 3 million or 15 million yuan. At present, the program has opened the project application acceptance.
